Mega
What a taste explosion! We ordered dumplings home in the morning and were delivered to our doorstep the same day. Extremely nice, reliable service. Large selection of the most delicious dumplings. We are fans.
Especially at this time when we can't go to the restaurant, DingsDums deliver small dumplings full of exciting tastes home. The concept is just great, the delivery was quick and it was really tasty. The dining experience is also enriched with joy and excitement while savoring the diverse and delicious fillings. It is therefore really worthwhile to choose different varieties. The miso chili mayo is amazing !!!!!!! We are thrilled and will definitely order again and pay a visit to the store if restaurant visits are possible again.
Unfortunately we cannot recommend the food. The fillings tasted just like a compost bucket. It was an absolute letdown and did not do our stomachs any good. The sausage stand on every corner would have been worth the money. So guys, stay away from it.
On recommendation, we ordered "dumplings" with friends. We quickly lost our joy and appetite. Everything tasted like frozen food that was quickly warmed up in the microwave. It tastes better at the snack bar on the corner. For us this was a failure. Not again.
cosy, personal, from the heart, with a perspective and most important absolutely delicious 🤤😁 I had craving for dumplings for two weeks and finally got to satisfy it! the empty plates say it all, gone after a double order! the fillings are non traditional and change all the time, I even took with me take away 👌
Great munchies of many intriguing varieties always changing. My go-to place in this part of town.
These dumplings are super tasty, they're delightfully presented, the place is cosy - totally recommend.
Everytime menu is changing, but dumplings are always delicious ❤️ You must try it once, then you become huge fan!
Unique Dumping place with amazing dumplings!!! One of a kind, would recommend to everyone!
Great taste, presentation and atmosphere.
Excellent food. Great service. Sustainable food
excellent food, nice people and a great sustainable concept!! definitely a must go! 😍
Incredible tasting dumplings, reasonably priced and a great idea of using food that would otherwise be wasted. The menu changes quite often so I'm looking forward to going back!
Dumplings made from ingredients that would otherwise have been disposed of, single dumplings with a whole arrangement of sauces and sides per small dish. Fillings change all the time. Last night they ranged from cauliflower to bonito to chorizo to lentils. Not bad but count me among those that would rather spend the 12.50 EUR on half a mountain of jaozi at a good Chinese place.
🚀👨🍳An extraordinary great experience! The concept, the extremely friendly service and the food is the absolute hit and everyone who is traveling in Kreuzberg or in Berlin, highly recommended!
It was okay for us.. it was different than what we like... We like more of asian dumplings than this dumplings...
Super recommended, rich and a great idea: use the food that supermarkets and other establishments are going to throw away and that still has a shelf life.
Exciting and laudable concept. Tastefully convincing. Preparation takes place on site, so please bring some waiting time.
Super cool! Great and nice team, fighting for a great cause! The Dumplings are terrific!
The food is amazing, just the wait is a bit too long.
For the whole concept to make sense (turn expired food into delicious dumplings), prices should be reasonably priced too. Sure, the business rents in Kreuzberg have increased enormously, but you just have to find a reasonable middle ground as far as the calculation is concerned.
Super nice staff and super good food, especially for the low price! Will definitely come back!
Delicious, and great idea with the reused foods!
The taste is good, but the prices are not! The dumplings are frozen and the vegetables used get them for a lower price because that has a visual quirks etc. As mentioned it tastes ok, but it could be a bit cheaper, otherwise it makes no sense to watch it over!
The unexpected often comes. Definitely go there! Delicious at its best! For bookworms: After a short walk through the Görli, I came across this cute shop. I was just hungry and didn't worry about anything. "One of each" I said and relaxed and sat outside (13.50 euros fair!) Almost 10 minutes later I had 7 different dumplings in front of me, each in its own bowl with matching sauces and toppings (Bacon, Parmesan something like that) I greedy pig then burned my tongue and had to order something to drink so I could continue to eat. !! Big Surprise !! Fountain of youth coconut water 550ml for 3.8 euros - it's not even that cheap in the supermarket - I ordered 2 sparfuchs directly) I had dumpling creations from currywurst to green asparagus (with the said parmesan topping <3 btw), to deep-fried dumpling with kimchi. Really a great culinary variety in my 7 bowls, for free I also got a deep-frying spiral potato or what that means ... French fries on a stick (really cool). Eaten and happy! - when the very friendly, full figured, bearded man behind the bridle explained to me that everything you use here is sustainable. Huh? So in the sense of: They only buy B-goods, which we end consumers would never buy in the supermarket, such as goods that don't look "normal" (crooked cucumber) or products that will soon reach their best-before date ... I have this best-before date honestly never really understood. Whatever. In the meantime I've been there a couple of times and especially outside it's really nice there in the evening. Hi5 & great that you exist - really!
Interesting concept, the food is presented nicely and it tastes good. Be ready to spend money though, the dumplings are sold individually and you'll need quite a few
Such an excellent concept - hope more restaurants do the same thing with surplus food. The dumplings are delicious too - loved the surprising flavour combos. Lots of options for veggies.
Very tasty dumplings. Everything done right
Hammer. Mega delicious!
Very nice little restaurant on Görli. The offer changes, the service is very nice and helpful and we have first tested a round of dumplings before each reordered favorites. The ingredients come from overstock, which is a great concept. The same applies partly for the drinks. Highly recommended the restaurant
With love created small delicacies. Nicely presented and delicious. Nice service. And definitely a good idea.
If they have the Linsen Büffelmozzarella, I'd take two of that
Surplus food from supermarkets that would otherwise go to waste is collected and used to create a changing menu of dumplings. This is a cause everyone can get behind, I like the idea a lot. If you are hungry, the staff will advise you to get 6 dumplings. There are no menus with 6 (or any other number of) dumplings: You pick them one by one out of a list. The price varies between 1,50€ and 3,50€. For me and my partner 7 or 8 dumplings would have been better, but we are hungry people... It was a nice gesture of the team to include a spiralised fried potato. The presentation of the food is much better than you would expect at this price point. Each dumpling is served in an individual bowl on a bed of dressing or sauce. The dumplings are made with a pasta-like dough, one was fried the others appeared to be steamed. Sadly the fillings didn’t match the nice presentation: One was filled with mozzarella which seemed to have watered down the filling. Another was filled with cooked bell pepper which also lacked a bit of texture. The fried dumpling was much better with its crust providing some contrast to the filling. Like the potato, the crust could have been more crunchy. There was always a little too much sauce to eat with the corresponding dumpling. Having a clean plate after eating would be much more in tune with the concept. I’m not sure if I’ll come back. On one hand I love the idea, but on the other I’m not sold on the execution yet. By simplifying the presentation, concentrating more on the taste and texture as well as offering an easier way to order this could end up a great place one day.
In my opinion the best dumplings in town. They’re made out of surplus food, which is already amazing but additionally they’re really creative. You can always find vegan options on the menu but also dumplings with fish or meat. My personal favourite are usually the desserts :) will definitely come back. Great concept!
Very exciting concept. Tasty prepared, everything tastes fresh and natural. Visually beautiful and always interesting thanks to the weekly changing map.
Here are processed foods that would otherwise have landed in the garbage. Loving and very creative is made of what is just there, dumplings. I was there yesterday and enjoyed a lot of variations. Everything was very delicious.
OK, but expensive for this kind of food.
Super delicious food, what you can eat with an even better conscience, due to the sustainable production! Great service and nice ambience
Super yummy food, friendly staff, outdoor seating with a view of the park, and most import, they use local food waste and have a constantly changing menu! I especially liked their innovative use of different sauces and garnishes. So great!
Just okay for me. Interesting and creative, yes definitely - fillings like cheeseburger and kimchi feta. But didn’t seem freshly made, just freshly steamed, and was pricey for dinner. Could be a good snack, maybe. Bottled smoothies for €1 though! Those were great value. Photo, starting top left going clockwise: leberkäse kattoffeln, kimchi feta, cheeseburger, aubergine, unknown, & Gorgonzola. Edit to respond: thanks for the response, DingsDums team! That is definitely super helpful to know going in, and I had no idea. As an avid proponent of food waste reduction, I absolutely love this mission, and yes, I hope to try new flavors soon.
Good dumplings. New varieties every week!
Very cool spot with an interesting sustainable concept. Dumpling in all variations. Good for a lunch break or sharing with friends.
